The Unknowable

Can the mango describe how it feels to ripen in the sun
Or the caterpillar describe how it turns into a butterfly?
Transformation must be experienced: there are no words to share it.
In silence and stillness, there is such a sweet ripening -
Deep inside the inside of the inside,
When the familiar peels off like an onion,
Layer by fleshy layer,
What is left is the unsayable.

Right Seeing

(Pic: Paradise 2 by Meenakshi; Acrylic on Canvas.)

" If therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of Light."
Matthew 6-22 , the Holy Bible

There is an old saying : beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
With the eye of the body, all that you see is matter.
With the eye of the mind, all that you see is thought or dream.
With the eye of the Heart, all that you see is beautiful, perfect and sacred.
Sink deep in the silence of the Heart.
The Self shines with its own light.
Stay here.
And all will be well.

Full Moon and Jayanthi Day

“Question: Is the state of “being still” a state involving effort or is it effortless?
Bhagawan: It is not an effortless state of indolence. All mundane activities which are ordinarily called effort are performed with a portion of the mind and with frequent breaks. But the act of communion with the Self ( Atma Vyavahara) or remaining still inwardly is intense activity performed with the entire mind and without any breaks.
Maya, which cannot be destroyed by any other activity, is completely destroyed by this intense activity which is called “mauna” “Bhagawan Sri Ramana Maharishi

Be Still.
Focus.
Dive deep.
Surrender.
Silence.
Enough.
