Indweller

To that indweller who witnesses my waking, dream and sleep, 

That secret life-force that makes my brain think, my blood flow, my heart beat,

That power that draws breath in and out of my chest,

That is the same power that makes plants grow and sun shine and rain fall,

That gives life to all creatures great and small,

That fills oceans with water and deserts with sand

And scatters stars and moons and planets in such perfect patterns across the infinite vastness of space;

To this invisible, intelligent energy that pervades and blesses all creation,

I humbly bow in devoted worship

and total, blissful surrender.

Sadhana

"Uttering the sacred syllable 'Aum' rise above the three regions, And turn thy attention to the All-Absorbing Sun within. Accepting its influence be thou absorbed in the Sun, And it shall in its own likeness make thee All-Luminous." Holy Gayatri

When the dark clouds of ignorance are blown away
By the winds of true practice,
The eternal sun of the Self is revealed in all its glory.

All the books ever written, all the words ever spoken
Cannot begin to describe this mystery.

I cannot know this , I can only Be it.

O compassionate Master shining in the Heart,
Your grace transformed this beast into the Divine itself!

When all that exists dissolves in your infinite Light,
Only perfection remains.

Such blissful peace!

Om shanti, shanti, shanti, hee.

One Death to Die

There is only one death to die, the death of this “I”.

Now my breath rises within, the breath of the Heart, 

the sweet breath that sings Your name, 

the secret breath that takes me within, 

the sacred breath that takes me home.

There is only one thing  to see, only one thing to be.

To be is to know and rest forever in that knowing.

Drowning in You, 

I dissolve in that ocean of unbroken, blissful Awareness, 

like a hailstone that melts in the sea.

What a transcendent wonder!

Nothing exists but Me.

What Do You See?

“When he sees Me in all and sees all in Me, then I never leave him and he never leaves Me. And he, who in this oneness of Love, loves Me in whatever he sees, wherever this man may live, in truth, he lives in Me.”

When you look for yourself, what do you see?
Are you a body, a mind , a soul?
Are you just a bundle of thoughts and feelings, fears and desires, memories and hopes and dreams?

Your true nature is pure Being.

Turning your attention outwards takes you away from your true nature.
Seek your source.
Sink deep into yourself.

Be still. Be quiet. Be without thought or action.

If you cannot be still, then throw yourself at His feet with total love and devotion.
Such surrender leads to divine vison.

What is the secret of true surrender?
If you would see the Divine everywhere, you must first see it in your own innermost being.
If you would be one with the Divine, be one with the Self in the Heart.

When you surrender at His feet in the Heart, you merge with Him.

Now , wherever you look, you will see only Him

And blissfully dissolve in an ocean of perfect peace.
