The Miracle of Being

Seek ye first the kingdom of heaven, then all other things shall be added unto you.”
Holy Bible

“ The softest thing in the universe overcomes the hardest thing in the universe.
That without substance can enter where there is no room.
Hence I know the value of non-action.
Teaching without words and work without doing
Are understood by very few.” Tao Te Ching of Lao Tsu

There is so much beauty in this world; and also, so much chaos and evil and suffering.
There is deep goodness in human beings; and yet, they can be worse than demons from hell.
Contradictions and paradox…..its all so confusing!
In these terrifying and troubled times, how can you stay sane?

As one lone human being, one tiny speck on this planet, what can you do?

All the great masters since the dawn of time have said : first, learn how to be.
Be still, be silent, be totally here in this moment now.
Dive deep into yourself.
A wellspring of blissful peace arises in your depths.
Doubt and fear and sadness evaporate like mist before the sun!
Who you truly are emerges as one immortal, omnipotent, perfect whole.

Is this how it feels to be in God’s embrace?
As you rejoice in the transcendental unity of all that exists, your very presence radiates love and joy.

Finally you understand : the greatest service you can do is to discover your own true nature.
Once the being is in perfect tune, the doing will naturally follow and be just right.
Whatever needs to be done, will get done.

Be a light unto yourself and you shall illuminate the whole universe.

“Peace of mind produces right values, right values produce right thoughts. Right thoughts produce right actions and right actions produce work which will be a material reflection for others to see of the serenity at the center of it all.” Robert M. Pirsig, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.
